In 1997 with Vitro Laser GmbH, Rémy Renaud, company founder and spiritus rector, laid the foundations for the success story of his subsurface laser engraving that has lasted to today. The systems of Vitro Laser GmbH, which started in 1998 and were launched from Minden in Westphalia, Germany, in the following years, have made a name for themselves on the global markets. At the same time, starting in 1999, the company developed the process at its core for presenting 3D portraits in glass. By 2003, 100 installations had been produced. Consequently, the company then began to develop the appropriate scanner in order to manufacture and offer a complete system comprising laser and 3D scanner. This resulted in a separate, new line of business, which was able to offer both installations and complete business concepts for entrepreneurs. The LOOXIS licensing concept was created in 2005 as a new, independent company. Fourteen years after its foundation, Vitro Laser Solutions UG with Remy Renaud is the legitimate successor and one of the world's leading manufacturers of laser systems for interior engraving. Today, in 2011, Vitro Laser Solutions UG is synonymous worldwide with the highest precision and an immeasurable level of sustainable expertise in the field of laser systems and laser systems for subsurface engraving.
