DEUTSCHES METALLFASERWERK has been a successful family-run company since 1951 – and we are now in our third generation. Our experience in developing and manufacturing STAX metal fibres covers a wide range of different materials and delivery forms such as continuous fibres, short fibres and non-wovens. As specialists, we are now one of the world's leading companies in this sector. At our sites in Neidenstein (Germany) and Dasnice (Czech Republic), we produce STAX metal fibres from non-alloy steel, stainless steels 1.4113 and 1.4841, copper Cu99, brass MS67 and aluminium AlMg5. In 1956, Süddeutsche Bardahl began providing innovative high-performance lubricants, oil additives and fuel additives primarily to the automotive sector. This laid the foundation for the company we are today: Chemie-Technik GmbH. Since the focus of our products moved towards technically advanced, output-boosting lubrications for industry and trade in the 1970s, our products have been sold under the brand name of ELKALUB. To this day Chemie-Technik GmbH is still run by the founding family – now in its third generation. Development, production and sales management are all taken care of by a 30-strong team at our Vöhringen/Württemberg site, while sales operations and customer services are delivered locally via a global network of partially independent agencies.
